Classical Ballet 

The Shayne McCormick Ballet Centre is internationally acclaimed as one of the leading schools of Classical Ballet training.  Former students are employed as teachers and dancers both internationally and nationally in a very diversified range of dancing genre including classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, musical theatre, the music industry and movies.

Classes are arranged in small groups in order to maximise the attention that can be given to individual children.  Teachers provide a nurturing environment where each child is encouraged to enjoy dance while developing both their personal skills and self confidence.

Classes are given in all age groups and grades from toddlers to professional levels and include teacher training development.

The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus (the largest classical ballet training syllabus in the world) is taught, with examinations being available at all levels.

 All examinations are optional.

  Classical ballet dancing encourages, poise, self discipline, social skills and confidence in students at the same time developing coordination, musicality and the goal of achievement.
